Step 1:

We spine all of our fishing rods to find the natural curve and balance point.

Step 2:

We grip and align the reel seat to the spine marks.  All grips are custom.

 

Step 3:

We shape the grips to the customer’s specifications.

 

Step 4:

We decorate with assorted colored threads, inlays, and stickers.  I intricately weave multiple colors of thread to create various diamond and chevron patterns.  In addition, we will add your name or boat name, by request.

 

Step 5:

We attach Fuji guides.

 

Step 6:

We use a slow set U.V. protection epoxy finish which seals the thread and has a glossy finish. There are two to four coats of epoxy per rod.
